Terms and Conditions

1. Pricing and Packages

  • Prices and packages chosen are subject to change

  • Prices may change at any time on our website, however, you will be receiving the price that you are locked in with. 

2. Deposit

  • To book our services, client must agree to our terms and conditions and provide a non-refundable deposit of 20%

  • Additional changes may apply for extended service hours, travel expenses, or special requests.

3. Customizations

  • Fill out our booking questionnaire upon checkout. Please be as detailed as possible. A LensUp team member will contact you shortly to discuss further specifications.

  • Pricing depends on material, time frame, and labor required, therefore we cannot give an estimate until we conclude the final decisions for your customized booking. 

  • If you are not satisfied with our customization plan, we will refund your deposit and cancel your booking, no charges applied.

4. Usage and Additional Hours

  • The service fee for the photobooth is based on the number of hours selected by the client at the time of booking. If the event exceeds the agreed-upon time, additional charges will apply. Each additional hour (or part thereof) will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour. These additional charges will be added to the final invoice and must be paid in full at the conclusion of the event.

5. Photo Template Frame

  • Be specific on colors, designs, text in the questionnaire. 

  • LensUp team members will contact you with a rough outline of details.

  • Depending on the desired details and proximity of the event date, template frame complexity may vary.

  • We will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with template frame before event date

6. Communication

  • Fastest method of communication for new bookings is through Instagram Direct Messages. 

  • A phone number will be given to all clients who paid their deposit, or if necessary for more in depth conversation on potential bookings.

  • Our response times vary throughout the day, with more activity in the evenings and weekends. Please be patient with us as our LensUp team members have other obligations during the working hours.

7. LensUp Photos

  • A copy of all digital photos will be compiled into a single album link. For privacy concerns, the link will only be given to the original client. It is up to their discretion to share the link to other photobooth participants. 

  • Album link will be available to access and download for free for one month post-event. Please discuss any time alterations with the LensUp team upon booking. 

  • Once the allotted time for the album link expires, all photos of the event will be deleted permanently. 

  • The LensUp team does not edit any of the photos. We do not offer Photoshop or additional filters. The only photo alterations will be the selections when taking the photos at the event. All photos in the album will be as taken. 

8. Event Location

  • There will be at least one LensUp team member at the event working the photobooth. 

  • We will arrive at the time discussed to ensure ample time to set up equipment.

  • Clients are responsible for providing access to the venue and ensuring adequate space and power supply for our equipment.

  • Clients must provide accurate event details and any specific requirements at the time of booking.

9. Travel Fees

  • For events located within 30 miles of our base location (ZIP code 94086), there will be no travel fee. For events between 30 and 100 miles, a flat travel fee of $50 will apply. For locations exceeding 100 miles, additional travel fees will be discussed and agreed upon with the client prior to the event. All travel fees will be included in the final invoice.

10. Clients

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Payment may be through card, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

  • Once contacted and ready to proceed, must be able to provide card information. This card information will be held in case of damages. We will permanently delete card information upon completion of event. 

11. Cancellations Policy/Refunds

  • Please let us know one week in advance prior to cancellation or need for rescheduling.

  • Cancellation made by the client less than 7 days of the event may result in forfeiture of some, if not all, of the deposit made

12. Damages

  • Our team will ensure that all equipment is set up and operated safely during the event. 

  • Clients are responsible for the safety of their guests and will be liable for any damages caused to our equipment or props due to negligence.

  • Damages may range from $10 to $1000s depending on the severity. 

13. LensUp Promotions

  • We reserve the right to use photographs taken during events for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon with the client. 

  • Clients retain the rights to their images and may request privacy of special arrangements regarding image usage

14. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. It is the client’s responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.

  • By booking our photobooth services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
